Information we collect

We collect the email address and name you provide when creating an account or contacting us, the content you choose to store inside an application, and aggregated, cookieless usage statistics such as page views and referrers. We do not buy personal data from third parties.

How we use information

Data is used to operate the applications, restore your work across devices, answer support requests, send the newsletter you opted into, and understand which pages are useful. We never sell personal data.

Advertising

Marketing and blog pages may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other partners. Advertising vendors, including Google, may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings.

Legal basis and retention

We process data on the basis of contract (running the service), consent (newsletter and personalised ads) and legitimate interest (security and aggregate analytics). Account data is retained while your account exists and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time by emailing hello@espycrux.com. Where applicable, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Security and transfers

All traffic is encrypted in transit, access to production data is limited and logged, and sub-processors are bound by data processing agreements. Data may be processed on servers outside your country under standard contractual clauses.

Children

The applications are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

Material changes to this policy are announced on this page with a revised effective date. This version is effective 1 January 2026.
